Nobody coded a through ball

Passes go where you point now, not where the game decides. The AI holds a compact block, strikers hold the offside line, and put those together and through balls just happen.

Day 63NOBODY CODEDA THROUGH BALL
  • Passes go where you point now, not where the game decides.
  • Hold to charge the power, release to play it.
  • The AI holds a compact block instead of stretching across the pitch.
  • Strikers hold the offside line instead of camping beyond it.

Put those last two together and through balls just... happen.

Ball at your feet, striker level with the last defender. You point into the channel behind the defence and release. The striker runs onto it, onside. Six seconds, no cuts, no UI, and the whole claim is visible in one take.

Nobody coded a through ball. Turns out you don't code one. You just stop preventing it. Two unrelated systems combined into behaviour nobody implemented, and the best feature I shipped this week is one I never wrote.

Shipped: manual directional passing · compact AI block · strikers hold the line
